Kėdainiai PSPC managers and specialists participated in the annual conference "Opportunities for prevention of psychoactive substances in municipalities" organised by the Drug Control Commission
Managers and specialists of the Kėdainiai PSPC took part in the annual conference "Opportunities for prevention of psychoactive substances in municipalities" organised by the Kėdainiai District Municipal Drug Control Commission.
Experts from the Department of Drugs, Tobacco and Alcohol Control gave informative presentations and shared insights on the challenges of the use of new psychoactive substances, and highlighted the role of the community in prevention. The conference presented good practices from different municipalities of Kaunas region, highlighted effective measures and initiatives aimed at strengthening youth and public health.
Prevention of psychoactive substance use in Kėdainiai District is carried out in accordance with the Plan of Measures for the Implementation of the Programme for the Reduction and Prevention of Addictive Substances Use in Kėdainiai District Municipality for the period 2025-2027. In order to provide comprehensive assistance and to increase the accessibility of services to different groups in the community, the Kėdainiai PSPC provides low-threshold services for addicted and at-risk persons.
