Maternity School opens in September
We invite parents-to-be and parents with young children to take part in the programme "Promoting a Healthy Start in Life" developed by the Kėdainiai District Maternity School. The aim of the programme is to help couples, women and young people in Kėdainiai District who are expecting a baby and who are already having a baby (regardless of which health care institution you are registered with) to deepen their existing knowledge and to acquire new knowledge and skills necessary for a healthy start in life.
The series of sessions consists of theoretical/practical meetings with medical doctors and other professionals. You will have the opportunity to take part in practical exercises such as "Infant Exercise and Massage", "Beginner's Yoga for Pregnant Women", "Relaxation, Breathing and Imagination Practice", "Pre/Postnatal Exercise".
The programme is funded by the Kėdainiai District Municipality, so all activities are free of charge. Pre-registration is not required!
