These activities aim to ensure higher-quality, more accessible, and more diverse mental health
services to district residents, improve conditions for patient treatment, rehabilitation, and employment, and
to ensure that people can receive the necessary assistance in a timely manner and closer to where they live.
Renovation work on the Psychiatric Day Care Center began this week and will continue through 2027.
February. During the project, the infrastructure will be upgraded and new equipment necessary for operations will be purchased
and even better conditions have been created for patient treatment, rehabilitation, and recreational activities.
The psychiatric day care center at the Kėdainiai Primary Health Care Center has been operating since 2013 and offers
to ensure that patients receive the necessary care in their local area, thereby avoiding the need for treatment
in inpatient psychiatric hospitals. Here, special attention is paid not only to treatment, but also to
to promote personal independence, social skills, and quality of life.
Once the project is completed, the day care center’s capacity will be increased from 10 to 18 places. This means that,
so that even more people can receive the help they need in a timely manner, and services will be provided
while ensuring patient privacy, confidentiality, and high quality.
We are creating an environment where mental health support becomes even more accessible to people.
