Small changes - big results!
The project "Promoting healthy eating and preventing obesity" is being implemented at the Kėdainiai PSPC.
The aim is to promote lifestyle changes, with a particular focus on healthy eating and lifestyles, to prevent the onset and development of chronic non-infectious diseases caused by overweight and obesity.
Activities include campaigns in health care institutions and other organisations to identify target groups in meetings with professionals, inform potential service users, assess the need for behaviour change and plan further actions. The project aims to activate the population of Kėdainiai district for positive lifestyle changes. In this way, more Kėdainiai residents will be able to receive information about lifestyle medicine services, and individual consultations will also be provided to those residents who are treated in institutions without lifestyle medicine specialists.
The project is expected to involve about 50 target group members, provide individual counselling to about 20 participants, and make information on healthy lifestyles and obesity prevention available to all those who wish to change their lifestyle and eating habits in a healthier direction.
Information about the campaigns is disseminated online, in the media and at events.
