About us
The public institution Kėdainiai Primary Health Care Centre was established on 1 October 1997 after the reorganisation of the Kėdainiai District Central Hospital. It is the largest and the most populous primary health care institution in Kėdainiai District, which is modern and constantly renewed. Since 10 September 2013, it has been a residency facility.
Today, the following services are provided by the Kėdainiai PSPC:
- 37 972 inhabitants of the district (17 782 living in rural areas, 20 190 living in urban areas);
- 6 378 of them children under 18;
It employs 303 staff:
- 76 of whom are doctors;
- 139 nurses.
Of these, more than 29,000 were visits to dentists.
From 1 January 2014. By the decision of the Kėdainiai District Municipal Council, the outpatient clinics of Akademija, Dotnuva, Krakių, Gudžiūnai, Josvainiai, Pernarava, Šėta, Pelėdnagiai, and Lančiūnava, as well as the assigned medical stations, will be reorganised by merger with the public institution Kėdainiai Primary Health Care Centre. The aim of this reorganisation is to ensure efficient use of human, financial and other resources and to improve the quality of services by optimising management.
26 November 2019 The State Service for Accreditation of Health Care Activities under the Ministry of Health issued the accreditation certificate No J 24-32.
The institution is accredited for family medicine.
